Great Canadian is looking to fill the position of Vice President, Technology Services. Under the general direction of the President, Strategic Growth & Chief Compliance Officer, this position is responsible for information technology (IT) for all Great Canadian Gaming Corporation properties across Canada. Duties and responsibilities for the next Vice President, Technology Services will include: • Collaborating with the President, Strategic Growth & Chief Compliance Officer and other senior executives and officers to provide leadership, operational expertise and strategic direction to the organization and all operational teams • Responsible for the development and oversight of the IT department's strategic plan, including developing and documenting internal IT policies, procedures and processes • Developing a detailed IT Project Roadmap with associated goals and deliverables to ensure that the Company's operations run efficiently and effectively • Liaising with operations leads to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve IT operations and mitigate the business risks and concerns of all parties, while ensuring compliance with rules and regulations • Developing an annual departmental budget; proactively monitoring and addressing variances • Advising the Board of Directors and senior management on applicable technology matters, including identifying areas of risk and making suggestions for mitigation and improvement • Staying current on the latest developments in IT best practices and related regulatory requirements to advise the business how to manage the associated risks in an appropriate and timely manner • Developing and implementing clear IT policies and procedures and ensuring compliance and enforcement • Responsible for protecting the security of the Company's IT infrastructure through effective and proactive oversight of security functions • Liaising and communicating proactively and effectively with executives, Board members and operational leaders at all properties of the Company, as appropriate • Managing other initiatives as required or as directed by the Board of Directors within the scope of responsibilities and capabilities of the position • Developing performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations for direct reports • Championing and participating in events for the Company's PROUD program • Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders; guests, management and team members • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications: • Personifies Great Canadian's values in action: Integrity, Team Engagement, Drive to Succeed, Service Excellence and Citizenship • A passion for providing Great Experiences and Memories to our internal and external guests in the continual quest of achieving Service Excellence • Post-Secondary education in IT or suitable combination of education and experience • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management; minimum 3 years of experience in an IT environment • Ability to deliver complex information in clear, concise and relevant written and verbal manner using appropriate media • Ability to effectively lead and work with colleagues not directly reporting to this position in order to successfully achieve objectives and deadlines • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to consult with executive and line leadership and influence without authority • Highly refined analytical skills • Ability to lead others and manage their performance • Proven ability to develop and lead teams to exceed internal and external expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication (verbal and written) • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce to achieve common objective • Strong knowledge of MS Office • Excellent at dealing with stakeholders (Great Canadian is highly regulated in multiple jurisdictions) - interactive, strong communications skills, diplomatic and tactful • Ability to obtain gaming registration in multiple jurisdictions - comprehensive background checks and disclosure of personal and financial information directly to gaming regulators required We thank you for your time and for considering Great Canadian Gaming!
